As a successor to the Delta HF Integrale 16v, Lancia introduced a heavily revised Delta HF, which became better known as the HF Integrale "Evoluzione." The Delta Evo was a five-door hatchback. Lancia found their temporary replacement in the Delta HF 4WD in 1987, which took the podium that same year.
